The Incomparable Children's Story From The Imagination Of Roald Dahl Bursts Into Life On Stage!
Matilda The Musical – the RSC's awesome hit stage show continues to delight West End audiences at the Cambridge Theatre in London. Roald Dahl’s awesome story about a gifted child with an extraordinary imagination was first published in 1988 and has been brilliantly adapted for the stage.
The plot focuses on the title character, a young girl blessed with extraordinary intellect from an early age – so much so that she can pinpoint the wrongdoings in grownups and read her way through the local library at a breakneck pace. Then, whilst at school, her powers go way beyond mere intellect, as Matilda is granted the miracle of psychokinetic powers and she uses them to teach those around her a lesson.
